It's plenty clean - see Scott's ref below - and it's WAY cleaner than
the coal that would power electric cars.

As to Wind and hydro, they just haven't proven to generate enough
consistent power yet.  Places close to a river could use hydro and I
think wind has some promise but I doubt it'll ever get to the point
where they can power houses, industry, and cars.

I'm not against electric anything.

I wish Tesla would've been a better manager of money and we'd probably
have gotten a solution 80 years ago: the Earth has an "infinite"
potential to generate and absorb electricity and Tesla seems to have
figured out how to use the ionosphere to tap it and make it available
wirelessly.
