Settle down Dana, I appreciate your help..alot... The IPX/SPX protocols aren't loaded, here's what is
MS Network Client Deterministic Network Enhancer QoS Packet Scheduler File and Printer sharing TCP/IP I'm running DHCP, and my D-Link Wireless N router is my DHCP server. Once IE loads the first time it seems to run ok, until I shut it down, or if a second window opens. I'm running AVG Anti virus which has a strong anti spyware component. I ran a full virus scan last night. I'm going to run Spybot in a minute. When I reloaded IE7, I gutted all of the add ins. I still need to defrag the drive (it's at 14% fragged), and run the Windows disk repair.. That's where I'm at... -- Scott Stewart ColdFusion Developer SSTWebworks 4405 Oakshyre Way Raleigh, NC. 27616 (919) 874-6229 (home) (703) 220-2835 (cell) -----Original Message----- From: Dana [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, June 05, 2008 1:48 PM To: CF-Community Subject: Re: Network geeks redux I realize that you don't need to run Novell protocols. Sometimes they wind up in your network stack anyway and they will slow you down considerably. If it's irritating you that i am trying to help, I'll just take my five years of isp tech support experience and my four network certifications and go play. It's not like I don't have stuff to do and it's not like this is actually a networking issue, whatever you think. Those are elementary questions but they narrow the problem down. What do you have to lose by looking? If you have actually tested your connection with Firefox and run more than one spyware detector (because you still don't know what caused the original problem, right?) then I agree with Jim that it's probably a browser setting. You might look at manage add-ons. I am sure that you have already cleared your cache and cookies, right? Or not. Format the thing if you prefer.
