We have had this discussion before, and you know that I'm living proof 
that your position isn't true.

You get a second or if need be a third job, save your ass off, and get 
in the car.  ANYONE can pick up and move in a reasonably short time. 
When younger I went from NY to ME to NC to FL to VA to NC, all over, 
because we felt like it.  Worked extra jobs at gas stations, restaurants 
and fast food.  If you are motivated you can do and be whatever the hell 
you want.
