We have had this discussion before, and you know that I'm living proof that your position isn't true.
You get a second or if need be a third job, save your ass off, and get in the car. ANYONE can pick up and move in a reasonably short time. When younger I went from NY to ME to NC to FL to VA to NC, all over, because we felt like it. Worked extra jobs at gas stations, restaurants and fast food.
