I stand corrected.  He did indeed co-sponsor a bill that never got out
of committee

There was no filibuster, or even a threat of a filibuster.  The bill
was read into committee,  And no further action was taken.  The
republicans controlled the committee.  So tell me again how the
democrats killed this bill.
