Heh, yeah.

Wish I could, but I tried that and it just doesn't work.

Back when I was ~260 I tried a fish-n-vegetables diet w/ cardio

I lost 10 lbs right away but then was making like .25 lbs per week. I
upped my cardio until I was doing 2 hours per day on a bike about 4
days per week. Didn't do much at all.

I got frustrated, thought I was just meant to be fat, and chucked the
whole thing.

Then I got disgusted with myself again, so next I tried swimming and
weight training at a gym, again using pollon's advice. After 3
months, same result, although I got down to 235 and then progress
halted.

Got discouraged again. Plus I hated the gym. Although I missed the
weight training.

So even though I decided I was just going to be a fatty, I thought I
needed exercise to stay healthy so I dropped some dough on home gym
equip:

When I really started focusing on lifting - and dumped the cardio - I
powered through to 220. I also added in more equip like a hip sled,
hyper/ab, power tower, et al. I also bought a Cybex ArcTrainer,
mostly for my wife, but also for me. I use it occassionally.

Hit the wall again.

That's when I perfected the insane diet for me. Now I can do anything
I want. I could drop down to 2% body fat if I wanted. Frankly I do,
but I lack the discipline to do it right now.

The BIG difference now is confidence & expectations in methodology.

I am 100% confident that I know exactly what to do and exactly what to
expect if I do it. That's huge peace of mind.

Now I just need to find that discipline ...

This is what I'm hoping can help me:

This thing kicks arse.
