That was not meant to be a dig against anyone. It is still good
advice. Some people may need specifics beyond that for their indivdual
situation. It is still a very good place to start regardless of who
you are and what your situation is.

And you're right, I have a pretty decent metabolism and not too many
issues. My wife, however, has Graves disease and had to have her
thyroid ablated with radioactive iodine so I have some understanding
of where you are coming from.

Oh and for what its worth, my first wife did Body for Life years ago
and it definitely helped her. She dropped from about 205  to 145 and
was still eating healthy. She ended up giving that up because she is a
foodie and didn't care as much about weight as pleasure and health.
Now she's somewhere in between those two numbers and enjoys it. And I
thought she was just as sexy the whole time.
