Freedom, equality and peace is what I did hear from Rev. Wright. As
for Khalidi, honestly, I can't really say, I haven't followed him
much. He may be a bad dude. And Ayers? Yes, I admire a lot of his
goals. I disagree with his methods. I almost said violently disagree
with his methods, but well, you see the contradiction there.

White people systematically oppressing black people? Yeah. Capitalist
system using corporate domination interspersed with a grotesquely
incestuous relationship with the military? Hells yeah. They aren't
fucking stupid.

I don't always agree with their conclusions nor do I agree with their
methods. But they aren't blindly ranting against America and trying to
establish an anti-American state. They want a "more perfect union".
You may have read that somewhere.

Ayers, to me, is the worst of the bunch because he employed violence
in his pursuit of his goals. From everything I've read, however, he
renounced violence decades ago and has done a good job since then. I
believe in redemption. I think that people can fuck up and then get
right with the world. His goals may not have changed but I don't
disparage his goals even if I don't entirely agree with them. I
disparage his old tactics of violence and intimidation.
