Wright's attacks on the treatment of blacks by whites shows anti-white
bias, not anti-American. He goes over the top with some of his
commentary but much of what he says about how blacks and Natives were
treated is true.

Robert's line was "Either Obama attached himself to these people out
of cynicism and naked ambition"
Having a spiritual mentor does not constitute cynicism or ambition.
Cynicism and ambition are attaching yourself to Pat Robertson or James
Dobson so you can get elected. Obama did not do that. McCain did.

I sat in church with my parents for 20+ years and didn't argue with
their preacher's anti-Catholic/anti-Semantic rants, until I finally
realized how damaging and dangerous they were, then I walked away.
That doesn't make me anti-Catholic/anti-Semantic, and Obama's similar
action doesn't make him anti-American.

Wright may have been his friend. The others were business associates.
Again, do you vet your business associates for political agendas.
Even the man who prosecuted Ayers has vehemently stated that Obama is
free of taint from the association.
