Oh yes. I had some rather rough and tumble times growing up. I haven't seen the loss of an eye but I had a rather stringy ex-golden gloves boxer alcoholic Aleut indian for a stepfather for awhile and we got into it. I remember a friendly visit from his brother down from Alaska where they got to drinking and my step father ended up with a seperated shoulder and his brother ended up with an ice pick in the gut. Maddog 20/20 is a hell of a drink. I've stuck myself between him and my mom and looked that violence right in the eye and made it entirely clear in no uncertain terms that if he laid a hand on her that it would end up with either him or me dead and I meant it and he knew it. The familiarity with that violence is one of the reasons that I don't plan on bringing it to bear with anything to do with my daughter.
