You know, I'm ok with this idea but only if Obama explains it.

Take the bit about not posting the bills online before signing them. I
can see why he would go back on that in some instances. But if he is
going to go back on that in an instance, I want to know *why*. Same
thing with putting in a lobbyist/exec for Raytheon into the DoD. What
was it about the particulars of this appointment that made it worth
violating his pledge?

Rules are made to be broken as they say but I expect an explanation
when they are. That's another difference I want to see from Bush to
Obama. Bush's M.O. was steadfastly refusing to admit any mess ups and
refusing to explain actions. The Office of the Presidency was above
such petty concerns and was offended that anyone might even consider
questioning its obviously unimpeachable motives and plans. Obama
doesn't get an Imperial Presidency. The dude works for me and I expect
him to behave like it. Yeah, we give them a fair bit of latitude
because they need it to do their job. But accountability my friend...
