If Dodd, who I know personally, was in fact the one who literally in the
middle of the night last Sept  removed the "no bonuses" clause that the bill
authors had in the bill, then he needs to be called out on that.

But, my understanding is, there really is no way currently to know who
removed it in the middle of the night. Which begs the question - why in the
hell don't we have the ability to know who is pulling the shenanigans?

I want to know who removed it.
I want to know who at Treasury know about these "retention" bonuses.
I want to know when someone realized these were actually going to be paid.
I want to know when Geithner knew.
I want to know when Obama's staff knew
And I want to know when Obama knew.

And then each of those people need to justify it to me, personally.
And then I want them to fix any communications or layers of inefficiency
that prevented the people that _might_ have stopped it from stopping it.

Or, I want those same people to explain why they think it should have gone
forward.
