Like I said I didn't know if it snows all year round. I do know a fair bit about the state. My favorite stat is that bears outnumber Humans. Of course pigs outnumber humans here in Iowa. The sun shines for 6 months straight up North right. Home of the famous midnight baseball :)
My beef is not with what you think about my car or what kind of car I drive. My beef is with people who try to tell me how I should and shouldn't live my life. What I choose to do within in the confines of the law is my business and no one elses. I am unsure why you care if I think your usage of your car is "responsible" or not, but judging by your angry reaction I have to guess that I would think it wasnt' responsible. LOL, you know very little about my state. Nowhere does it snow all year round. Even in Barrow (much further north than nome) there is a very nice summer. In Anchorage our "break-up starts in April, with roads being completely clear usually sometime during that month (this years its been quite late) and the first snow is usually in the first part of October. I actually mostly bike commute in summer to work and back, and to the dog club. My car is used for shopping trips or the occasional night out. My SUV isnt' nearly the size of yours, and my ego isn't caught up about it either. Its dog eaten and dirty.
