I seem to remember a time when "no Irish need apply", Jews not allowed", and other non-African American focused racist practices were standard in this country. I don't remember Irish or Jews getting affirmative action. I see lots of immigrant groups coming here, working their asses off to get their families here and not asking for any affirmative action. I see 'white trash' families who have the same socio-economic lives as poor blacks who don't get it. On and on and on. So basically we have a practice based on race, not on wealth or education. Isn't a practice exclusive to a single race racist? > That framework is called Affirmative Action
