I thought we'd talked about this? If it takes more energy to melt
down a clunker than you'd conserve by driving an electric car or
riding a bike, or simply driving the clunker till it dies, what's the
point? (read: we agree)

I don't even pretend to care. What will be, will be.

At least pretending to care about this shit isn't harmful, neh?
There's plenty of PC crap that's just plain detrimental. It might irk
you that "green" folks are capitalists (oh my!), but that's a
non-issue, really. I like all this innovation in areas like solar and
wind. just needed money, mostly.

It would eventually happen without government intervention, but why
wait, when we don't know how much time we have?

It is a waste of energy to be angry with a man who behaves badly, just
as it is to be angry with a car that won't go.
