Our local phone company is Frontier - and they suck. We switched to Vonage a few years ago and the quality of the calls actauly went up.
I called about a year ago to ask if they had plans to add a fiber optic network and no one knew what I was talking about. I can;t even get Verizon of AT&T service unless I go through Frontier. I understand why - Frontier owns the lines - but it still sucks.
