OK what about those here on F-1 (student) or J-1 (exchange)type visas? 
Technically they are not legal residents, but can work (at the sponsoring 
institute or very select number of locations). Yet they can get drivers 
licenses etc.

With that attitude towards immigrants what next? Advocating shooting so called 
illegals on sight? i thought that sort of thing went out with the Nativist 
movement of the 1850's.
