Why is it obviously religion based? I really don't see why it would be.

The pursuit of happiness is not anchored in the Dutch constitution, but 
both the free exercise of religion and the right not to be discriminated 
upon religion are. So if this law is religion based, it should be 
overruled by the Dutch constitution.

(BTW, the Netherlands. Holland is merely a province.)

Not many. Most of these cases never reach the court because in the Dutch 
legal system you are only entitled to damages, not punitive damages. 
This means that the amount of money at stake is a lot lower, which makes 
companies more willing to settle, and others less willing to sue.
