Hasn't most, if not all of the TARP been repaid?  If we are going to be
making cuts (and thus increasing the burden on the bottom half) then we also
need to be increasing the burden on the top too.  I think you are wrong on
that Sam...it has been the other way around.  Dems have been caving in to
republican demands like the republicans are the majority.

We don't need to cut spending until we're starving. We just need to cut all
the spending from the last two years. Repeal Obama care and then we need t
work on repaying the tarp and stimulus money. Then there's the entitlements.

At this rate we can't survive, if we reverse all the damage we will recover
as we always do. If we leave it all in place and try to shave a bit off the
top while increasing the debt ceiling we're doomed.

Sadly, I don't think the GOP has the cojones to do what's really needed and
will go along with the Dems path to destruction.
