There is a difference between terrorists who target innocent people and an
army that tries to avoid hitting innocents. During the last war in Gaza
Israel dropped leaflets and made calls warning civilians when they were
coming to an area to hunt for Hamas. They found time and again Hamas booby
traps in civilian areas. Israel bent over backwards to avoid civilian
casualties.

The war crimes charge is so much bull that I'm surprised you keep using it.
Evidence says that there were no war crimes. Investigations without
preconceived decisions proved that there were no war crimes. Goldstone even
backed away from the charge and his report was riddled with holes. Sorry,
your call for war crimes falls short again. Research rather than parrot.

and government officials should be punished for it. Sorry, but as far as

Past 2000 years? Wow you have no clue about history. So the Israel that
existed 2000 years ago was actually Palestinian? Sorry, but historical
evidence is again against you. The Palestinian people as a term and group
was created in the last century. Till then they were Arabs like their
brothers in what is now Jordan, etc. But don't believe me, believe a
Palestinian.

Palestine Liberation Organization executive committee member Zahir Muhsein
said in 1977:
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state
is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for
our Arab unity. In reality today there is no difference between Jordanians,
Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese. Only for political and tactical reasons
do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab
national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct
Palestinian people to oppose Zionism."

So if the Balfour declaration is 'illegal' in your eyes then Jordan is
illegal? How about the other Arab countries created as part of the colonial
division of lands? The British had as much right to the land as the Turks
before them or anyone else. If they own the land then they can do what they
want with it. Basics of civilization. Dispute that and every border and
every country becomes meaningless as it can be claimed by any other people.
So what about Israel's rights to the land? Israel existed before the
Palestinian Arabs came. Jews never left the area even when Israel was
destroyed. You're argument has always been that the Jews have no rights to
the land for some strange reason no matter what the historic record might
show. If anyone has a right to the land, Jews do.

Again, as much are you want to claim holocaust guilt, historical evidence
shows otherwise. I know your focus on the holocaust and all but it happened
quite a bit after the event leading to the modern state of Israel.

Disproportionate is one of those key words used against Israel. Because they
win, because they do their all, they are accused of disproportionate
response. Guess what. EVERY COUNTRY is looking to have a disproportionate
response when attacked. Name me a single country, a single army, a single
war where there was any attempt to be proportionate in response to attacks.
