I love people who think that standards mean having no standards.

Yes, calling people out for racist behavior is just the same sort of
thing as the racist behavior itself, it's all a judgement. I,
personally, find that behavior repugnant.

And I know that you'll immediately say "calling out racist behavior is
not the same thing as calling someone a racist". I am quite familiar
with identity politics and the desire to focus on process rather than
making categorical statements about someone's "inner being". Hate the
game, not the player, right?

There has to be limitations on relativistic social attitudes,
otherwise morals, social mores, implied social contracts...they mean
nothing. We're talking about a man who has a long, long history of
incredibly hateful and ugly speech and at some point you need to stop
pretending that each action takes place in isolation and that each
must be condemned separately and instead stand up and say "This *man*
is not ok".  You may call that prejudicial, I call it standing up
against hate. Or, as Rush would put it, calling a Spade a Spade.
