So we agree, the law doesn't allow the employer to ask all woman for
medical records and then fire them if they bought contraceptives?

Now that that part is clear. You have an issue with an insurance
company asking for proof that money they give you is being used for
medical purposes?

While I agree it sucks that you have to lay out the money first and
then wait for a reimbursement and explain why you need it medically.
But that's way different form the way you presented it.
