As I've come to feel we should no longer be involved in any conflicts abroad, I'd be against it, but DHS/DOJ and others have deployed people outside of DOD to them, so whatever.
I'm pretty sure there were some in Vietnam as well. I guess I just think that we have enough of our own problems to deal with, we don't need to borrow others. Something to note, many of the fatwas that allow for the killing of Americans are based on our continuing presence in the middle east.
