I agree there is the potential for consideration. Yes, general welfare of
the public is an issue. But working 50 hours vs. 40 hours some weeks?
That's not going to destroy the fabric of our society or wreck someone's
life.

If it were a serious and true problem....then yeah, gov. should step
in...but does anyone here really think we have a problem with this in
America?

There are weeks where I gladly work over 40 because I'm dedicated to doing
my job as necessary. I should answer to my clients, my employer, and my own
standards.....not to a government mandated limit.
