Independent studies have shown there is corruption, both in the US and over the pond in the UK. And they hover around 2% in both instances.
So sure, try to clear up that 2%, but don't vilify the other 98%. Welfare is not the major problem. Massive Military spending, massive tax loopholes (some of these multinational companies together could pay close to a trillion in taxes. Apple alone is avoiding taxes on 102 Billion US Dollars.) are another. Corrupt lobbying subverting the capitalist economy is a third.
