So you've both benefitted in some way from the very thing you are now
against.
Systems can always be improved, but that doesn't mean the system is bad or
should be abolished.

Do some people abuse Welfare? Sure they do. But still others have used it
as a valuable tool to succeed in life.

The notion that the concept of welfare is killing the economy of countries
is bs, in my view (And that is why I mentioned Austerity, which was
essentially cutting and in some cases eliminating welfare programs).
It happens out of fear and misunderstanding and an unwillingness to
apportion blame to the persons and the social classes that many aspire to.
