And then they will use force to get you under control and arrest you.  I 
have been on more ride alongs than I can count.  I have seen officers get 
into fights.  Once the cuffs were on, the stopped the fight and sent him to 
jail.

Besides up until the fight, the kid did nothing illegal as far as I know.
