the last gas station to fill the guy's tank, or perhaps the last restaurant
where he had a meal..."If they had not served him that food, he would have

or think about this... If I'm having a party and the only person there that
is not drinking is someone with night blindness, and I ask that someone to
go to the corner store for another bag of doritos and some moon pies...and
that person then crashes into and kills someone (and themselves) because
they couldn't see the white lines on the road. Am I responsible? Would I
even be charged?
