I worked as an Avionics technician in the Navy and here are some of the *actual* complaint messages from pilots:
- Transmitter does not radiate when in STDBY position. - Use hours counter was not reset after last maintenance. - ECM pod setup did not meet required frequency range. - Transmitter would not radiate from flight deck. (It's not supposed to) - Receiver audio poor, Mode FM freq: 101,500,000 (101.5 MHz, a local rock station). Later!
