Hey all, I just have to bitch for a moment, cause I'm not able to think about anything else right now. The manufacturing plant in my backyard called last week to tell me that they've just discovered a 15-year-old chemical (tetrachloroethene) spill that most likely extends into my backyard. Yee ha. Originally, I gave them verbal permission to come in and test for it. But, I've since talked to a specialist who says that I should probably get a lawyer and negotiate for compensation for the loss of my property value first, and to make them not do the remediation until after I've given birth.
