Hey William, I want it to wait until spring because unless I eat the dirt (not highly likely) or touch the dirt with bare skin (in winter in Wisconsin? yah right) it's reasonably safe to let it sit there. If, however, they do remediation, they're going to inject more chemicals that are under extremely high pressure into the ground every 3 ft throughout the contaminated area. The new chemicals "foam," beginning to break down the original bad chemical. That's good and all, but in that process, it's possible that some of the original bad chemical gets vaporized and becomes an airborn toxin. And, it's much harder to avoid airborn toxins. The specialist said, "I'm going to give you the "Chronic Wasting Disease" answer on this one - no one's going to put their ass on the line to tell you it's definitely safe to do remediation while you're pregnant, just like no one's willing to say it's definitely safe to eat CWD venison."
So, the question is - potentially breath airborn toxins now, while pregnant, but my windows are closed cause it's cold. Or, wait until spring when I might want my windows open and I have a newborn. Both sound like crappy alternatives, don't you think? -d Deanna Schneider Interactive Media Developer [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=5 Signup for the Fusion Authority news alert and keep up with the latest news in ColdFusion and related topics. http://www.fusionauthority.com/signup.cfm Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5
