Opinion aside, that wonderful financial bliss you sustained under Clinton
began in 1982 with Ronald Reagan's tax cut. If you don't believe me, go and
look at the growth rate for the Dow. From 1901 till 1982, it's a
slow, steady increase. In 1982, that growth rate takes a tremendous spike
upward and follows that same level of growth all the way through the
Clinton
years. There's a graph on this page, scroll down near the bottom:

Opinion back on. So you're improved standard of living had nothing to do
with
you? You didn't improve your job skills? You didn't get promotions? Clinton
did
some mumbo jumbo and *POOF* you were better off?

I have a friend that blames Reagan for the fact that he couldn't get a job
after
graduating college. I think the fact that he wouldn't move out of Buffalo,
NY was
a far bigger reason than anything that Reagan did.

So now it's Bush's fault there's no peace in the middle east? If your idea
of peace
is the same as Neville Chamberlain's, I'm ready for a little ass kicking.

Clinton was a sleaze personally, but under him my standard of living
markedly improved. Bush has trashed the economy and any hope of peace in
the middle east. In my opinion.
