I dont care that clinton got some nookie on the side i dont care that bush is a coke head before, i don't care that any president did anything in his history or fooled around on his spouse. IF he does a good job so be it. And if in1 year shrub can turn the economy around well then i'll change my views on the success of his presidency. Yet i in a way hope it doesnt improve too terribly much because i'm looking for a new owner in 2004 :).

I am willing to revise this opinion, however, no, I did not get a raise during this time. My income stayed pretty much the same (read: fell, in real terms) 1997-2000.
