I had the same problem. After not being able to find anything CF related in the area for a year, I took a job doing tech support for an ISP. It isn't the greatest job in the world and I would rather be doing CF stuff, but at least it's a job and it's computer related. Plus, on the slow days, I have time to read up on stuff I should be learning anyway, such as PHP and .Net stuff :) Basically, I'm getting paid to learn, with some minor aggravation thrown in from time to time. heh.
Maybe you could find a similar arrangement to help pay the bills until something better comes along. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Ihrig" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, September 08, 2003 5:14 PM Subject: would you work a coffee shop now? > ok > so after being officially off the full time corp. dev spot for a year. > doing a job for the dod & air force, another for a brewery & another for a > still manufacturer. > i am about to drop out.. and i mean way out. > > thinking of ditching the dreams of a brick 2 bedroom & kid or two. > for a doughnut job & continued ghetto occupancy.. > > why aggravate yourself, instead of getting comfortable? --------------------------------------------- This E-mail certified virus free by Janty Corporation and Alt-N Technologies --------------------------------------------- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=t:5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Your ad could be here.
