I had the same problem.  After not being able to find anything CF related in
the area for a year, I took a job doing tech support for an ISP.  It isn't
the greatest job in the world and I would rather be doing CF stuff, but at
least it's a job and it's computer related.  Plus, on the slow days, I have
time to read up on stuff I should be learning anyway, such as PHP and .Net
stuff :)  Basically, I'm getting paid to learn, with some minor aggravation
thrown in from time to time.  heh.

Maybe you could find a similar arrangement to help pay the bills until
something better comes along.
