Paul, Here's the way I figure it. If it's honest work, it's honest work. There's no shame in working at a coffee shop, if it pays the bills. Of course, you're not sounded real thrilled about the prospect.
Honestly, my old roommate was making as much as I was when she was waitressing at a high-end restaurant. She loved the hours and she loved the work. She's a stock-broker's assistant now. Isn't real fond of the work, has some issues with the whole ethical side of investments, and makes less money. Hm...which is better? -d ----- Original Message ----- From: "Paul Ihrig" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "CF-Community" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, September 08, 2003 4:14 PM Subject: would you work a coffee shop now? > ok > so after being officially off the full time corp. dev spot for a year. > doing a job for the dod & air force, another for a brewery & another for a > still manufacturer. > i am about to drop out.. and i mean way out. > > thinking of ditching the dreams of a brick 2 bedroom & kid or two. > for a doughnut job & continued ghetto occupancy.. > > why aggravate yourself, instead of getting comfortable? > > ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=t:5 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/lists.cfm?link=s:5 Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.5 Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com
