followers. But utimately it was the Romans who handed down the sentence.
Me thinks, from a political standpoint, that if Jesus were allowed to
continue his preaching and gain power, the Romans/High Priests will not want
that.

Vaticant II was an attempt by the Pope to try and build bridges to remove
that as an excuse to kill Jews. Gibson dosn't hold by Vaticant II.
