It was slow - but I like Space Opera so it wasn't so bad.


Although I'm not sure when a "Two part movie" became a "Mini-series". the
whole thing was still shorter than "Lord of the Rings" - actually "Harry
Potter" might have been longer as well.


Mini-series it ain't.

Yeah, I have to agree with you there.  "The West Wing" has faster pacing.

I don't think it needed a lot of editing, but the pace could have been sped
up.  It just seemed like you could have left all the footage in, squeezed it
into a 10-minute shorter time slot, and added a more "active" cliffhanger at
the end.  That would have had the audience leaning forward a bit more.

All in all, though, a good rebirth and good writing.
