I really enjoyed lighting Hanukkah candles this year, and just sitting watching their glow. Realized it was far better than being dead!
Yes, we exchanged presents, but not as crazy as in past years. And I really didn't had the "whadja get me, whadja get me?" attitude. Yeah, I buy a lot of stuff for myself.
One of the nicest presents I got was a handwritten note from my daughter's male friend (supposedly friend boy not boy friend, not my business...) telling me he was glad to know me. Wow.
