Kingsport to spend Christmas Eve with Wendy's parents. Then Christmas day
to Knoxville to spend time with first one of Wendy's sister's and her
lazy-assed ignorant jerk of a husband (I have a slight dislike for this
person).
Then we spent the rest of the day with her other sister and her family.
Janice has two young kids, one 3 years and the other 6. Christmas is really
for the kids. Rather funny though they got a ton of presents, but the
little boy (the 3 year old) ended up playing with the boxes.
The ferrets got some treats and other stuff for Christmas, but spent most
of the day when we were at Janice's trying to stay out of the way of the
girl, (the 7 year old). She loves the ferrets and wants to carry them with
her everywhere. The ferrets needless to say don't exactly appreciate the
attention. But in general a good time was had by all.
I drove back from Knoxville in two stages part of the way on Friday, then
the rest of the distance yesterday. Wendy is staying there for the next few
days, and I'll be picking her up on New Year's Eve. It looks like this
holiday season is going to be marked by long road trips.
