I would gladly accept some white chocolate fudge.

For gifts, I usually spend a day or two in the kitchen making my very popular
(with friends) white chocolate fudge.   Box them in 2 lb decorative containers
and give them to close friends and family.
Just my way of communicating to a few that they are very special to me.

The closest thing to a gift exchange was the white elephant gift exchange we had
at our user group Christmas Party a couple of weeks ago.  That had a lot of
  entertainment value.

  | I am with you Jeffry, even if you spell your name funny.
  |
  | I really would prefer not to exchange gifts with mike even, it would be nice
to buy something together or maybe take a vacation together.  We have skipped
gifts several years but this year he wanted to get me a video game system,  so i
  agreed to exchange gifts.
  |
  | And then there is his entire family to buy for.  I find that irritating.  They
give me hanukah presents on christmas, or stupid christmas ornaments.  I dont'
get either logic - hanukah gifts are given at hanukah  and its rather impolite
  to give me christmas decorations.
  |
  | In any case, i did enjoy spending time with mikes nephews, niece and
  grand-nephew!
  |
  | And eating GREAT turkey
  |
  | If you havent' brined a turkey before, I hghly recommend it.

  |   The vote is out on whether I'm a humbug or a grinch.
  |
  |     I don't exchange gifts w/ anyone any more, so my Christmas haul was
  |   nothing.
  |     My siblings and I were brought up putting emphasis on the time we spent
  |   together as opposed to gifts.  We cut out gift exchange a few years
  |   ago.  We're all at a self-sufficient point.  Anything that lies in the
  |   "affordable" price range we go out and buy.  Other things are so
  |   specialized (Like Guitar Gear or computer equipment) that no one can pick
  |   it out but me.  There are so few things on my "want" list under $500.
  |
  |     I did get to spend Christmas Eve w/ my parents and brother.  Christmas
  |   day w/ my gf and her family.  It was all as relaxing as spending time w/
  |   family can be.  ( When are you going to get a real job; when are you going
  |   to cut your hair, etc.. )
  |     I bought myself a video camera last month.  That is my closest thing to a
  |   Christmas present I got.  :-)
