I have to respectfully disagree on this one too ... :D

Depends on the year of the vehicle and the handiness of the person. We
drive a 91 Ford Explorer. Valued at practically nothing. The collision
insurance is more than the car is worth and if it was hit, they'd total
it anyway and we'd be at a loss. We barely drive it ... as we work from
home. Any fender bender or damage less than $500, we'd pay out of pocket
anyway, and since I know how to do most repair work myself, it is just
so not worth it.

Of course newer vehicles are way different and most people mileage will
vary.... :D

Cheers,
Erika

I wouldn't be without Collision coverage - but have a pretty high
deductible to
keep the rates in line  ($500.00)
