first thing I always do in these situations is look at the server log in the
CFAdmin tool.  I'd bet there are entries in there concerning request time
outs or long running requests.  Look to these CF scripts straight away.
Note that you need to have 'log slow pages taking longer than x' checked in
the CFAdmin tool logging settings.
