>Have you look at non-CF causes? Slow database interaction possibly?

I'm not saying it's 'not' a non-cf issue, but during the 10-30 second hang
times, all non-cf pages on all other sites i.e. html, php, etc. work
flawlessly, including ones that call mySQL. Also during hang-time, all cfm
templates on all sites are stopped, including test files that don't even have
any cfml code in them. It looks like something in cf server that is NOT caused
by a particular template is causing cf to just sit there, refusing to return
anything to apache for up to 30 seconds, then suddenly the problem disappears
and the next second all queued templates execute and all is fine for several
minutes. Again though, I'm a good coder but in way over my head on server
issues...

Don't know if this makes any difference or not: The first time this happened
last month, it started slow and got worse and worse (more frequent and longer
hang times) for weeks until I upgraded to 7.0.1. Now that it's doing it again,
it started slow and is getting worse and worse. Restarting cf and even
rebooting the server has no effect on frequency or duration of the hangs.
