This survey was certainly not meant to be a promotional tool. The idea was just to reach as many real, day-to-day, hardcore ColdFusion developers as possible as efficiently as possible for no other purpose than to help guide our server products in a direction the development community will find useful. There is no shortage of product and feature requests both from inside of Macromedia and from outside, and surveys like these are one of the tools we use to help figure out what developers really need. We consider cf-talk to a huge and important collective voice, especially when it comes to matters like product direction.
