Well, I'm pretty far from Seattle (Boston) but have still done usability
and other "feedback" stuff for MS. Most recently I did a long online
survey concerning distribution of help files (online, CD subscription,
etc).

The nice thing is that after an hour of my time I was able to choose a
present! Pretty good damn presents as well... I choose the developer's
edition of Office XP (There were dozens of options ranging in value from
$100 to $900 retail value).

I'm generally all over things like this... The version of Flash I'm
using was a "gift" for doing an hour long usabilty study on CFStudio
5.0.

The MS usability team takes applications for participants online here:
http://www.microsoft.com/usability/

I believe that MM gets it's participants mostly from registered users
and surveys like the one we're talking about.
