Damn. Checked a few of those pages. And they rock. I love this functionality: "ASP.Net Grid Grid in flat mode Dynamic Group By Grid formatting features Database bounding Footer Totaling and Count Multicolumn client-side sorting Pagination Embedded hyperlinks in cells Column Moving and Reordering "
On the My Expenses page. But..where do these controls come from? The client must download them when they first access the website? The code looks.....daunting however. And really is more complex than what we're accustomed writing for CF. http://www.infragistics.com/expense/SourceCodeViewer.aspx?path=YourExpen seReports.src&file=YourExpenseReports.aspx.vb&font=12 That's a lot of coding i.e. development time to produce those results, although the results are good. Course there is the flipside... How WOULD you do something like this in CF? You may have to use Flash..and take just as much time to code the CF pages/Actionscript interaction. But you can't do it 'natively' in CF. .Net provides a lot more of these 'nifty' widgets than CF does. -Gel -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sure it is. But tell me that writing something like http://www.infragistics.com/expense won't be a major hassle using CF. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~| Archives: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?forumid=4 Subscription: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/index.cfm?method=subscribe&forumid=4 FAQ: http://www.thenetprofits.co.uk/coldfusion/faq Get the mailserver that powers this list at http://www.coolfusion.com Unsubscribe: http://www.houseoffusion.com/cf_lists/unsubscribe.cfm?user=89.70.4
