You are correct, in that it's unlikely you'll convince me of the merits of
Fusebox. You're also correct, that everyone is entitled to their opinion.
But these "tit-for-tat exchanges" will certainly convince people of
something. Some people may be convinced by your arguments, others may be
convinced by mine, still others may be convinced that they should
investigate the topic further themselves. That's how arguments work. That's
how the marketplace of ideas functions. Good ideas push out bad ideas, goes
the theory, over time.
