Hi,

>> The phrase "use what works for you" comes to mind.

I could not agree with you more. I would not expect anyone to do
otherwise; unless I am paying them to do so.

>> I don't think a lot of people that
>> DON'T use Fusebox are "opponents"

I don't either and was not attempting to lump non-Fuseboxers into my
case for secret sauces. My intent was to show that many people simply
can't let the fact that others do use Fusebox sit without commenting how
their framework or methodology is superior. I am not saying a superior
framework does not exist; there just isn't one publicly available that
is known to be superior. If there was I would likely be using it.

>> many have credible reasons why
>> they don't use it

Many of the very credible reason have also been solved, yet continue to
be stated as issues. There also seems to be may people who speak out
with little in-depth knowledge of the subject and the resent being told
they are incorrect about an assertion. Of course there are may aspects
that are just personal likes and dislikes and while one may see the
issue as valid, others may see it as trivial. Once again the use what
works for you rule is king. :)

>> people just can't accept that what
>> THEY think isn't what everyone else thinks.

Agreed; however, I am not among them. As I stated before I would gladly
see the light if someone would show it to me.

>> I could care less if anyone thinks it's because
>> I am "keeping" it from them because I think it's
>> "better" than their precious Fusebox

It is not a matter of an individual keeping it a secret. The jest lies
in the notion that anyone with breath can "say" they know something to
be true, but very few have proven it.

>> is this one of those times when something
>> is so glorious it should just be accepted
>> without any scrutiny?

Absolutely not! The reverse also holds true; don't knock it if you
haven't tried it. And by trying it I don't mean downloading it and
looking it over. I mean actually putting it through the paces and giving
yourself ample time to become proficient with it. If you still think it
sucks, by all means don't use it.

>> just another sad attempt to discredit
>> someone or some company that doesn't
>> use it by stooping to levels unbecoming
>> of a professional.

I have not seen this in this particular thread, but the case can
obviously be made for both sides of the issue and has more to do with
personal shortcoming rather than framework shortcomings. I hope I
haven't offended you in any way and if I have I apologize.

Best regards,
Michael Wilson
