It's always nice to have to regress back 6 years to get a system of theirs that 
works right, while windows 2000 was probably their best one aren't they 
stopping updates to it now? Which brings up the point of if you do go with a 
windows server you will be spending a whole lot of time doing updates to it and 
if its a production server then you have lots of testing to do after each 
update to check for compatibilty problems. You will have that on the other os 
servers as well but not nearly as much.
