OK I feel like a bit of a rant - I think MM would make life a lot easier for 
themselves if they avoided the demo FLEX apps you can do already in HTML (ok and maybe 
a bit of javascript).

Some of these amazing FLEX demos include:
- An address form made up of text fields
- 3 radio buttons
- 2 text boxes and a button that copies the value from one box to another.

WOW!!

MM got rightly criticised last year when they released their new site with a bunch of 
"RIA"s like this. They've since improved things a bit, doing things like replacing 
dropdown lists in Flash with HTML select controls. But areas like the MM Exchange are 
still pretty questionable IMO. So why try to sell a new technology by making the same 
old mistakes?

I'll admit a few of the FLEX demos show a bit more promise. eg. Tree controls have 
always been pain in DHTML and the Web services stuff looks great. But it's still not 
all that "rich" is it?
