I think you have highlighted my points exactly.

I like "new stuff" I like "change" - but I wont change just because
someone tells me I should.  There has to be some justification to the
change.  And I still have not seen enough justification for me to change
in regard to Flash for complete applications.

When I need animation and embeded streaming video and audio - then I can
see a reason.  But not just for regular everyday applications.

Which brings me back to MXML again.  I think it looks really kewl.  I
think I would like to use it in Cold Fusion (even without any regard for
Flash - and on a certain level I am already doing that with my own
applications).  Which is why I was asking the questions of Sean regarding
how MXML slots into the architecture where CF is concerned (and he
answered fairly clearly that it really lives on the "Flash" side of the
fence and not with CF).


That's OK though - I am still going to continue wire-framing my
application workflow with XML of some kind or other cause it makes them
faster to develop in the long run.
